So I weighed myself just now. I am down 2.2 pounds since last week but really only down .6 pounds since January 7th. I must really be doing something wrong. I’m going to measure myself this week too since it’s the end of the month (Alexx, does your journal say to do that too?) and see if I’ve lost inches. Everyone says don’t worry about the scale but when your goal is a certain weight and you are really trying, you want to see progress!
Yes, I agree that my next step is to look at my nutrition. And water. I know I don’t drink enough water! I will work on that for my goal in February.
I guess my plan to hit the gym later is a good idea. Today is all about my son though. We have therapy at 12:30, the gun range after that, and the gym after that. I don’t know why I’m awake so early but I am so I am just going to relax (and get my laundry done). Hell, I have almost 6 hours!
One thing about driving the couple and their cousin last night. The couple are very conservative and proper. The cousin on the other hand is improper, loud, and so from the country! So much Texas country twang that the couples caregiver couldn’t understand him. ๐ I actually was translating to her from his English to mine. ๐ So I saw exactly what my ex husband will be like in another 40 years. I had a blast and laughed a lot.
We went to another fancy schmancy restaurant in the Uptown area. It was a fish and steak place. It was very good, I forgot to take pictures though. It was called Caracos. The men had raw oysters as an appetizer. Each of us ordered something different. Their cousin ordered blackened red snapper, the wife ordered duck, the husband ordered the biggest pork chop I’ve ever seen, and I ordered the snapper but I thought grilled. When they brought my fish, I tried it and it was so nasty. It looked raw, it was cold, and it was so sour! Like it was drowning in lime juice. The cousin shared his snapper with me (his was HUGE) and that was wonderful! Maybe my Spanish is really that awful that I ordered something completely wrong. I don’t know.
It was fun though and a good ending to my work week.

Yes, ma’am mine says that as well that’s one of the reasons I bought my scale and stuff. My weigh day is the 22nd of each month so I been really trying not to get on that damn thing till then,lmao. I love this journal but I need to cool it on the stickers for real.lol

Think about .6 in a diffferent way! That is 2 sticks of butter and thatโs a lot of fat! When you lose 5#โs pick up a bag of sugar and feel what you lost. This always worked for me.
