Yesterday I actually did NOT go over my calories. I think this was the first Sunday in a month that I didn’t!
I also did arm weights at home using my 5 pound handheld weights for 15 minutes to make sure I hit my 30 minutes of exercise for yesterday. I did not go to the gym since I was cooking and cleaning. I didn’t even hit 10,000 steps but that’s okay for a rest day. I still hit all of my daily goals from my watch. Go me!
I am VERY determined to get where I want to be. I’m not trying to go run a marathon, I want to be able to go up stairs without huffing and puffing. I want to be able to walk around this park here that has a 3 mile track (anyone on WordPress in Houston please feel free to contact me and go walk with me – I won’t go alone). I want to keep up with my child when he’s taking off on me.
Today, I am taking Cranky to her dentist and then need to drive down to see my chiropractor again. My back really started hurting again last night and this morning. It was probably the weights. I only used 5 pound ones though!!!
My ground beef wasn’t thawed so I will be making my meatloaf muffins tonight. I didn’t like the chicken very much. Maybe I can douse it with ketchup, like a chicken strip. I will also go do cardio at the gym. Maybe the bike or maybe the elliptical. We shall see!
