Good morning! I’m not as cheerful as I sound but I am putting my best foot forward and woke up on my own about half an hour ago. I am debating either getting some work in or going to walk around the park (3 mile trail).
Today my son is going to a sleepover birthday party so he is leaving around 1pm. I will have lots of time to work, exercise (if I feel like it), and relax. I started out this morning by eating a peanut butter chocolate fat bomb. I made them last night. It was like eating pudding. It wasn’t BAD, it tasted like a Reese’s peanut butter cupcake the most part, it’s just not usually what I would have for breakfast! I just want to see if this will help my energy level. And everyone is always raving about their fat bombs so I had to make one to see what the fuss is about.
I didn’t hit any watch goals yesterday but I weighed myself this morning like usual and I’m down 1.6 pounds this week at 193.6. That’s nothing to sneeze at, right? So why do I feel like it should have been more? Oh well. It’s almost 2 pounds in a week and considering my exercise has been WAY off this week, I can’t complain!
So that’s it for now. I hope everyone has a great Saturday!
I started thinking about this About Me part of my blog. I'm going to expand it just a little from the 3 words I had before.
I am a single mom. I love my son. We have been alone since he was 6 months old. He really is my sun, moon, and stars. I am very proud of him.
I am an entrepreneur. I started my driving business 2 years ago. I don't want to work for a "boss" ever again. I always tell people they can do it too. In what I do, there is no competition because there are plenty of people that need rides (and maybe that would help get some of these bad drivers off the roads!). I work hard and have fun on my own time doing what I like to do.
I really am a Netflix addict. When I am not working or doing something with my son, I am watching Netflix. There are so many shows that I've never re-watched anything either. I will watch anything and make my own opinion.
I am opinionated. This blog is really just my opinions and my life. People don't have to agree with me all the time. I welcome discussions and other people's opinion whether they agree or not. I'm not petty, I'm not going to block anyone for not sharing my opinion, why do people freak out these days when someone doesn't share their opinion? Who cares?!? There is a reason we all are different.
There's a lot more about me but you'll have to read the blog to find out!

Excellent work – and don’t worry about the decimals. If you weigh yourself throughout the day that will go up and down quite a lot. The 16 oz cup of coffee I just drank added a pound to my weight. That will be lost in a short time. Other things will come and go. My own weight goes up and down by 2-3 lbs in the course of a couple of days.
In the end the important thing for you is that you’re clearly meeting your goals. You’re consistently eating the way you want to be. Your weight is going consistently down. Keep up the awesome work and commitment!
Thanks Todd! I’m trying not to let the scale rule. I weigh every Saturday after I use the restroom and before I put anything in my body but I know it’s not always correct!
For sure. Even the amount of salt I have messes with how much water I retain. Same with exercise. I gained several pounds of weight after riding 100 miles a couple of years ago – inflammation.
My energy had been off so I’ve set myself the challenge of zero caffeine and to stick to one meal a day. It was so hard to start off with especially as I cook for the family 90% of the time. I’ve just completed day 11/40. I’d say my energy is stable now. I can wake up when my kids come through at stupid o clock and I’ve not had any day time crashes.
It’s hard to start off with but some how I stuck with it and it’s working.
That’s great! The fat bombs I made helped me get up and moving this morning. I just took a 2 hour nap and headed out to drive some more. If I don’t eat, I sleep so I haven’t fasted other than sleeping and the first 2 hours in the mornings.
Sleep is so vital & if you get chance to grab it in the day go for it! Fasting doesn’t work for everyone. Gotta listen to you’re body and respond with love x
Whoo hoo! You go girl. Enjoy self time today😃
