Throwback Thursday

It’s actually a little over 12 miles from my door to my parking garage at school. I left at 6:18 this morning and got here in 20 minutes. There was still traffic but it wasn’t nearly as bad as leaving at 6:40!

So this morning I posted on social media a throwback picture. I found this old picture on the UH website from the last time I was at school here. I think I was about 280 although that is just a guesstimate.

See what 17 years did for me? Lol

Now I know you guys are excited to see my sons hair. We spent 3 hours at the hair place and the owner only charged $120 for the whole thing. It’s not what I expected (although what did I expect?) and he is very upset at the cut. I told him hair grows and we can change how it looks by straightening it or letting it be curly. My mom thought he was doing his whole head blue so she is okay with this too.

Yes, he is flicking everyone off. Crazy child of mine!

So obviously I am at school. My friend that I was going to meet overslept so I told her no big deal, I’ll be here all day and we can meet for lunch. I’m nervous about class and surprisingly, I am ready for my first class (biology) this morning. Then I have 4.5 hours to get ready for the math class. It should be a good day. Let’s pray it is!

I work again tomorrow. Styled and Ms. Forgets. I guess I’ll take study stuff with me. I forgot yesterday and that was 3 hours I could have been studying! Oh well.

Y’all have a great day!

  1. Truthfully, I don’t blame him for not liking the cut. It seems a bit childish for his age. But, you’re right. Hair grows. He’ll. get through it. Heck, I had a Dorothy Hamil hair cut in 7th grade. Big mistake.
I am glad you let him have color. My mother didn’t, and look at me now! Lol
