Exams…EEK

I had my first Anatomy lab exam this morning.

53 total questions. 10 were multiple choice. 40 (!!!) were fill in the blank. 3 were looking into a microscope to see which phase of mitosis the cell was in.

These are all of the fill in the blank things.

I think I did pretty well but guess I’ll find out next week!

This afternoon I have a job taking a woman to her doctor. I have driven her before but not to doctors offices. I hope that goes well.

I have another exam from my Anatomy lecture class on Friday. I’m on chapter 4 of 5 to prepare for that. I also have a chapter in Kinesiology due Friday and a discussion thing due in nutrition on Friday.

The next few days are going to be nonstop school but I think I have figured out a good way to study. I study for an hour and then take a 30 minute break. Last night I watched an episode of Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix between each one hour study session. And I felt prepared today! Let’s see if this works with my lecture exam.

I have to get groceries today. I have been putting it off as I had lots of snacks to munch on. Too much sugar and too many carbs later, I am done. I have to get back on track. I don’t have any clothes if I gain weight!!! This morning I was 151. Nope. Not gaining any more! Obviously I don’t have much time to meal prep today and tomorrow but after I am done on Friday, I am cooking up a storm! I want to already have the food here waiting to be cooked which is why I’m going to the store today.

Keto friendly gumbo (I’m allergic to shrimp but can put any other kind of meat in it)

Kids lasagna (for my son)

Zucchini fritters

Keto biscuits

Keto cheese crackers

Cookies for my son and keto ones

Can you tell I’m going back to keto? I am not trying to get under 150 so I will have to eat more calories. I felt healthier when I was not having all the carbs so I’m going back.

Any other ideas would be great. Any helpful study tips too. Comment please!

Meal prep Sunday!

I LOVE Allrecipes!!! I find pretty much anything I want to make. If you cook, you should use this app. I included the names of whomever posted these recipes so they won’t think I’m stealing them to post online.

I am cooking today for the week. I’ll have breakfast, lunches, and dinners all made. It will be the same things daily and that doesn’t bother me. Now, if my family eats these too, I’ll have to cook again this week. Let’s hope they do since eating at home is much cheaper and better for you!

Now… on to what I’m making today.

Not too hard and not many ingredients. I’ve already been to the store and taking an animal (scratching and petting them) break before I wash my hands and get started. I also have to make my sons biscuits since that’s what he likes in the mornings. 😀
